The Color

I have two favorites color one is the black and the second one is the color pink. Black is not considered a color, but for me is the best color that exist. Is a color that represents my life, all the adversities, all my problems, all my history. The pink color is a color that I love because represents all the activities I did in favor of the people with cancer, all the dances challenges, all the basketball tournaments, etc. This two colors are the colors that define me.

I like this image because for me represents something very common in society. Represents the power of the lion in the outside, but in the inside is a sensitive animal. Our society is like that, people simulate be the most powerful people in the outside, but in the inside are the most weakest person that people may know. This happen because much of the people of this generation like to pretend something that they do not are. They want to outshine in front of the eyes of society, but what they do is lying to the people. The best thing to do is be ourself, demonstrate what we are capable of do without pretending something that we are not. 

Architectural Binneual at the Cultural Center

The past week our group went to the Architectural Binneual at the Cultural Center. In this Cultural Center we saw the Frida Escobedo exhibit, also we saw the standard architecture of the Hutong, this was very common in China 600 years ago, in addition, we saw the Vertical City exhibit. For me the best parts of this exhibit was the Hutong architecture standards and the Vertical City. The Hutong houses was so impressive, all of them mesmerize me. This Hutong houses was so big, the people who lived in this houses can had 6 more houses inside that one. In the Vertical City exhibit we saw different fantasy skyscrapers. Some of this fantasy skyscrapers didn't had organization one of them was the "Not Another Tower". This Tower didn't had organization, this tower had things that in real life is impossible to do because the tower can collapse with all the things that tower had. In this museum have some features that our instructor explain in class. The Cultural Center had two domes in the building, the stairs are with marble, in the roof have some artworks, but also had Beauzx. This trip to the museum was a great experience for me.

Water taxi experience

My first trip in the water taxi of Chicago was in this class. It was a great experience, I was a little scare because I never go in a boat before. In this trip I see the different great buildings Chicago had. Something that I learn in this trip was that very building had their own appearance, they are beautiful the way they are, just like art.  I can see the creativity of the architects of this buildings, how they create this great buildings in their minds to do it in real life, that's a great question people had to do in their minds. but it was a great experience and I want to go again later with my family. Thank you for taking us to that trip instructor.

Architectural experience

My best architectural experience was when I went the Palace of the Laws in Puerto Rico called "El Capitolio".  At this time I was in 12 grade and every class in my old high school have the tradition to visit "El Capitolio". "El Capitolio" is where laws in Puerto Rico are created. When my friends and I entered The Capitol we feel in another world. We can see the different parts of the "Capitolio" and also when you enter you can see a painting in the roof top. Here, also have the constitution of Puerto Rico and is almost the same of The United State Constitution. In the tour around this place we can see the separation between the Senate room and the Legislative Assembly. The structure is one of the oldest one in the Island. This Capitol had a dome and in the inside of the dome had some paintings. This are of angels in the Catholicism religion. Also The Capitol had the sculpture of the past governor. This is one of the best architectural experience when people visit Puerto Rico. In my opinion, is one of the best things Puerto Rico had.

MCA Reflection

Go to that museum was fun. The paintings was strange all of them, some of them I didn't understand it, but it was a great experience. The best part of this museum is the anime and manga part. It was so colorful that mesmerize all kind of person. The creativity of the authors is very special. In that same room they had two big sculpture of two big monsters, it was very spectacular. But also they had a very peculiar photograph is called "Guess Who Is Coming To Dinner", this photograph show us an old soldier, like a veteran, but he had all his ranks. I think that this photograph is showing us the honor this old soldier had for his uniform. And other one that caught my attention was the "Punching General", this is an sculpture representing a soldier with all the medals or badges that he had. Is a general, but I don't know why the author called this sculpture "Punching General". And another painting that mesmerize me was one called "Nuclear Power Picture". This paint has three figures stand in a foreboding landscape with nuclear cooling towers billowing smoke in the background. When I see this paint I feel like the person who he draw in this paint was me. I don't know why but I feel like that. The visit to this museum was one very fun and it was a great experience.

Title: Mona Lisa

The Mona Lisa is my favorite artwork. For people that don't
know about this art, this art has things that scientists could not
explain. Nobody knows who is the woman in that art. Some
people thinks she is the wife of the artist, other things that
the artist paint himself like a woman. Other thing that
people don't have an explanation is that the woman looks like
she's fallowing you with her eyes. This paint is from the year
1503-1506 perhaps continuing until 1517, and in the actuality
scientist don't have an explanation for strange things in this paint.
That's why Mona Lisa is my favorite paint, is a paint full of
questions. When I was in Puerto Rico, I watched videos of this
paint. Like interviews to scientist, or just videos of the history
of the paint.
